The route from Pictou to Tatamagouche is short, about 60 km, and honestly, a short ride was what we needed today. We were both a little leg-weary after yesterday's ride and the night in the "Hippy Camper" wasn't all that restful (a lot of traffic noise).
This is a photo of the train hotel where we are staying.
An absolutely perfect day today, the warmest of the year in Nova Scotia. And it is the holiday weekend ("Victoria Day" -- the locals don't care so much about the sovereign but apparently love a holiday weekend).

| We actually got too hot today. What a glorious feeling! |
| In Tatamagoush we went to Tatamagoush Brewing and had a sampler flight. Good stuff. |

We are staying tonight in a train car. It's better than a Hippy Camper. A few years back my brother and I and our Dad took a trip through BC and Alberta on a train. He would love this train car we are staying in and I hope he sees these pictures.

We went for a hike along the river. A multi-use trail runs for a long way. Longer than we wanted to walk. But in the warm sunshine it was just so very nice.

We are catching the ferry to Prince Edward Island tomorrow. The weather is taking a turn for the worse and we are expecting rain. That's OK, the past few days of sunshine were worth the payment.
More to follow.
